Using Trayce

Trayce turns a photograph of your tools into a 3D model you can print. You need an account to use it, because the free allowance and any subscription follow your account rather than your device.

Free inserts, then a subscription

Every account can create three inserts free. An insert is counted when a photograph you have taken becomes an editable insert — not per tool, and not per export. Editing and re-exporting something you already made costs nothing, and a photograph that finds no tools costs nothing.

After that, a subscription removes the limit:

• $2.99 per week, or
• $99.00 per year

Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your local store.

Billing and cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting your Trayce account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which also govern the purchase itself.

What you make is yours

You keep every right in your photographs and in the models Trayce produces from them. We claim no licence over them, and we never receive them — the processing happens on your device. You may use, modify, print and sell what you make.

What Trayce is not

Trayce measures from a photograph and produces a model with dimensional tolerances. Real prints vary with your printer, filament, and how the photograph was taken — lighting and the spacing between tools both affect how accurately an outline is traced. Print one insert and check the fit before printing a set.

Trayce is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for wasted filament, printer time, or a pocket a tool does not fit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent the free allowance or the subscription, interfere with the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You can stop using Trayce at any time by deleting your account in the app.
